Legislative Latino Day 2012 Washington State

Public is invited to attend Latino Legislative Day 2012, a free event held on Capital Campus perhaps the strongest platform to address the issues affecting the Latino Community in the State of Washington. Over 1000 people are expected to attend. Event will begin at 8:30a.m in the Office Building 2, and various forums will be held i...n different locations through out day. During the event attendees will be addressed by a variety of respected State Officials including State Representatives, Senators and the Governor. As a participant will able to engage in policy sessions, and or speak to legislators about pending legislation that will affect our communities: Revenue Based Solutions, Voting Rights, Education, Health care, Farm Worker rights Immigration Policy Sessions, Juvenile Justice and others.

Special Guest Speakers: Keynote Speaker Governor Christine Gregoire, Representative Phyllis Gutierrez-Kenney 46th District, Attorney General Rob Mckenna, Representative Luis Moscoso 1st Legislative District, Representative Kevin Parker 6th District, Supreme Court Justice Steve Gonzalez and other State Dignitaries have confirmed.
