Development & Communications Director  Full Time

The Development & Communications Director (DCD) is responsible for raising and growing revenue to fund Casa Latina’s mission and programs, including a model, day labor worker center. The DCD leads fundraising and communications strategy, managing and executing on diverse revenue streams and powerfully telling the story of Casa Latina’s impact to a broad audience. The DCD manages two direct reports: a Communications Associate and a Development Operations Associate. The DCD also serves on Casa Latina’s management team alongside the Executive Director, Program Directors, and the Finance and Administration Director.

Human Resources Assistant | Part Time

The Human Resources Assistant will provide support for the day-to-day human resource operations and will provide support to the Executive Director. This position will work the majority of time in HR duties and a small portion of time working with the Executive Director helping with duties such as taking minutes, organizing meetings and provide support to the board of directors. The main part of this role will provide HR guidance to the staff of Casa Latina and some areas of responsibility include payroll processing, benefits reconciliations, orientation to new employees and creating better HR procedures.

Communications Associate | Full Time

The Communications Associate (CA) helps to tell the story of Casa Latina’s programs and impact to a broad audience through multiple channels in order to build appreciation and understanding of Casa Latina’s work and to raise funds to support its mission. Casa Latina’s Communications Associate has strong written, graphic, and strategic communications skills and feels comfortable carrying a wide range of projects from conception to completion. Collaborating with the Development Director, the CA plays a key support role in the development of communications strategy and executes on them to donors, employers of day workers, volunteers, activists, grant makers, worker-members and other key audiences. The Communications Associate will also support general development activities as a member of a donor-centered development team.

Workforce Development Coordinator | Full Time

The workforce development coordinator provides Latino immigrants with safety and health trainings as well as vocational trainings so they can achieve a skilled job at a safe workplace. The workforce development coordinator supervises a team of trainers who delivers trainings to Casa Latina’s participants, as well as Latino day laborers waiting for job in front of home improvement stores in Pierce, King and Snohomish counties.
