Casa Latina's mission is to empower Latino immigrants through educational and economic opportunities.

Community Literacy workshops

We offer free training to help immigrant families achieve their economic goals.

Every Tuesday morning, informational workshops are held in Spanish at the Day Workers' Center to help workers adapt to and better understand their community and their rights in this country. Workshop topics are often suggested by the participants and include issues surrounding health and preventative care, workers’ rights, civil rights and discrimination, tax preparation, work safety, and more.

Many of our workshops are provided by community partners, such as Sea Mar, Global Law Partners, the Seattle Office of Civil Rights, the King County Office of Civil Rights, and Entre Hermanos.
