Casa Latina's mission is to empower Latino immigrants through educational and economic opportunities.

Computer Lab / Laboratorio de Computacion

Casa Latina is proud to announce the launch of its first mobile computer lab as of March 2011. With the support of the City of Seattle Bill Wright Technology Fund, Casa Latina now offers both beginner and intermediate computer classes, specifically tailored to meet the needs and schedules of the Casa Latina participants.

The classes are taught in Spanish and are offered Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:30am to 12:30pm. In addition, the classes are drop-in and the lessons are self-contained, enabling students to participate in the program as their schedules permit. Lessons provide Casa Latina participants with the skills needed to navigate the Internet, use technology to support their work, and use computers for personal communication, as well as a multitude of other tasks.

To volunteer with the program, or to attend classes, please contact Emily Gaggia emily@casa-latina.org or 206-956-0779 x120.
